The site is named in Turkish as “Pamukkale”, that means “cotton castle”, parallel to the glorious and spectacular view of the site. The dazzling white calcareous castles are formed by limestone-laden thermal springs, creating the unbelievable formation of stalactites, potholes and cataracts.

The water of Pamukkale is famous for its benefits to the eyes and skin; and its curing properties to the ills of asthma, rheumatism, as well. The remains of the ancient Hierapolis are situated on back of the thrilling white terraces, standing wondrously in the area.

After visiting this unique landmark we will drive to another one: Cappadocia. This will be a long drive, you can enjoy the comfort of our deluxe bus.

On the way to Cappadocia our first stop Konya, you will see many small villages where authentic Turkish life style is so live.

Konya; is equivalent of the ‘Bible Belt’ and treads a delicate path between its historical significance as the home town of the whirling dervish orders and a bastion of Seljuk culture, and its modern importance as an economic boom town. The city derives considerable charm from this juxtapose position of old and new.

We will be passing through this Turkey’s finest and most characteristic sight by making a short stop over at Mevlana Museum (No entrance); the former lodge of whirling dervishes.
Celaleddin Rumi, the Seljuk Sultanate of Rum, produced one of the world’s great mystic philosophers. His poetry and religious writings, mostly in Persian, the literary language of the day, are among the most beloved and respected in the Islamic world. Rumi later became known as Mevlâna (Our Guide) to his followers.
We will reach Cappadocia in the late evening.

Cappadocia City Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, be ready to explore one of the unique landmarks of the world; Cappadocia !
We recommend you wear comfortable shoes and clothes.

Our first stop will be Kaymakli Underground City; found under the hill in the middle of the town and was discovered and opened to public in 1964. Although only 4 levels of underground city can be visited, it is not exactly known how many levels it originally had.

Like the underground cities, this one was also built by the people who converted to Christianity to avoid prosecution. They used this place both as a shelter and a safe place for worship. Although the city seems to be a disorganized layout of the rooms and tunnels, great care and skill were used when it was hollowed out as one room never joins another. Among the interesting places and things that can be seen during the visit are bedrooms, depots for foods, wine cellars, air shafts, waster reservoirs, a church with two apses and millstone doors to stop any danger that could come from the out side. The millstone doors, just like in the other underground cities, were placed on the tunnels and could only be open from inside.

Devrent Valley; where is also called pink valley. It is possible to see interesting rock formations from the road that goes through the valley. On the way, having passed the camel, its possible to see dolphins and a penguin and a camel. On your right is Mother Mary with surrounded by a couple of human statues.

Avanos; The old city of Avanos overlooks the longest river of Turkey – Red River. The ancient name of this city used to be Venessa. The most famous historical feature of Avanos, which is still relevant and very visible today, is its production of earthenware pottery. The ceramic trade in this district and its countless pottery factories date right back to the Hittites.

Located ceramic clay from the red silt of the Red River has always been used.

Today it is a city park called the At Meydani (Horse Grounds) because of its function in Ottoman times. The Hippodrome includes the 3500-year-old Egyptian granite Obelisk, brought to Constantinople by Emperor Theodosius in 390 AD from Old Delhi.

Blue Mosque; is one of the most famous monuments in both the Turkish and Islamic worlds, the Sultan Ahmed Mosque (also known as the Blue Mosque) is a superb example of classical Ottoman architecture.
